In the Kyiv region, a drunk 31-year-old man blew up a grenade during a conflict with his sister and her friend by throwing it in the direction of the audience. UNN reports this with reference to the police of Kyiv region.
"The other day, the police received a report of an explosion in a house in Havronshchyna village. At the scene, law enforcement officers preliminarily established that a 31-year-old drunken man had a conflict with his sister and her friend. After that, the attacker took out a grenade and threw it in the direction of the audience," the statement said.
As a result of the incident, two people were injured: a man sustained cut wounds to his body, and a woman sustained contusion and shrapnel wounds to her leg, but refused hospitalization after receiving medical care. The attacker also sustained injuries and was provided with medical assistance.
"The offender was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Investigators of the Bucha Police Department notified the suspect of suspicion over the incident (Part 2 of Article 15, paragraph 1, paragraph 5, Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code). The court imposed on the suspect a pre-trial restraint in the form of detention," the statement said.
