A large fire broke out in Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia; a column of thick black smoke is visible from various districts of the city, Russian Telegram channels reported, according to UNN.

According to SHOT, at around 3:00 AM, a warehouse caught fire in the area of the GES settlement, preliminary reports suggest it contained plastics and paint products. A massive column of smoke is visible from several kilometers away, and eyewitnesses report a pungent odor in the air.
Prior to this, a drone alert was reportedly declared in Tatarstan; however, "this fire is in no way connected to a drone attack on the region."
According to reports, polymer products are burning, and the fire covers an area of more than 6,000 square meters.
Firefighters are working at the scene, attempting to contain the blaze. There has been no information regarding casualties at this time.
