Klymenko: The enemy has increased the intensity of attacks, especially the occupiers are trying to put pressure in Donetsk region

The defense forces are holding back enemy attacks, which have increased in intensity, especially in the Donetsk region. Thus, the National Guard destroyed 300 pieces of military equipment, 10 ammunition depots and 99 dugouts with occupants inside in a week.  This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko on his Telegram channel, UNN reports. 

"The enemy has increased the intensity of its attacks, especially in Donetsk region. However, our soldiers, in particular the National Guard of Ukraine, are effectively restraining this invasion and destroying all enemy equipment on the approach to our positions," Klymenko wrote. 

According to him, over the past week, the Guards destroyed:

• 20 tanks;
• 48 units of armored vehicles;
• 71 occupants' vehicles;
• 10 depots with ammunition; 
  
• 5 electronic warfare equipment;
  
• 99 dugouts with occupants inside;
  
• 112 artillery systems
  

Our soldiers also discovered and destroyed 5 multiple launch rocket systems and 9 enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
