Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko released a video of the first minutes after the Russian army attacked rescuers in Kharkiv on the night of April 4, UNN reports.
Details
Klymenko said that one of the deceased rescuers, Vladyslav Loginov, devoted his life to working in the fire service. His son, Volodymyr, also followed his father's example and became a firefighter and worked as a guard chief at a neighboring fire station. That night, immediately after the first explosions, the father and son and their colleagues immediately went to the site of the attack.
Vladyslav and Volodymyr worked next door to each other, just a few houses away. When a powerful explosion occurred, the son immediately realized that it was most likely to hit where his father was.
"Kharkiv. It's impossible to watch this footage with a cold heart. A young firefighter is crying at the site of the strike where Russia cynically killed his father, a 52-year-old rescuer, a few minutes ago," Klymenko captioned the video.
Earlier , UNN reportedthat rescuers Vladislav Loginov, Serhiy Baidalinov and Volodymyr Matyushenko were killed in Kharkiv during an attack by enemy UAVs on the night of April 4.
