MPs who are members of the Verkhovna Rada's PIC for Kyiv want to see for themselves whether there is really no threat of an accident at the Poshtova Ploshcha metro station in Kyiv, as public activists have pointed out. This was announced by Vitaliy Bezgin, MP, chairman of the PIC to investigate the effectiveness of the work of public authorities in Kyiv, on his Facebook page, UNN reports.
"Poshtova Square. Is there a risk of a catastrophic situation? According to activists and experts, yes, according to the Kyiv city authorities, no. But we have no right to put Kyiv residents in danger, so we agreed with Volodymyr Bondarenko (Deputy Mayor - Secretary of the Kyiv City Council - ed.) to go down to the site together in the near future, together with representatives of the PIC, and see everything with our own eyes. We cannot allow even a potential catastrophe in the city," Bezgin wrote.
