A child was injured in an incident at the Lybidska metro station, and was handed over to paramedics, UNN reports with reference to KCSA.
"Lybidska metro station remains closed to the public. The child was handed over to paramedics," the statement said.
According to KCSA, the metro's specialists are currently replacing and adjusting some elements of the escalator.
"These works are essential for their safe operation," the statement said.

Earlier, the KCSA reportedthat the Lybidska metro station in Kyiv was temporarily closed to the public. On one of the escalators, the shoes of one of the passengers got into the mechanism.
