According to the researcher, the fifth egg appeared in the nest between April 13 and 21. For over a month, Hrytsyk and Odarka took turns incubating it, waiting for the fifth stork chick to hatch. However, this did not happen because the egg exploded.
For more than a month after the explosion, the egg lay in the nest, occasionally moving around its entire perimeter.
