Law enforcement officers exposed a notary and three of his assistants who, with his permission, used the notary's digital signature to enter the notary registers of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and certified documents instead. At the same time, the notary did not want to stop his activities, so he instructed his assistants to perform notarial acts on his behalf using his forms, seal, and digital signature without him.
In total, during the period of the notary's absence in Ukraine, more than 2,000 powers of attorney were issued on his behalf, and numerous contracts, wills, etc. were certified.
Currently, three assistants have been served a notice of suspicion. The notary's whereabouts are being established.
