Details

"The Security Service detained another adjuster of Russian missile and bomb strikes on Kharkiv. The offender tried to identify the locations of the Kraken special unit of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine. Following the suspect's instructions, the occupiers hoped to inflict fire on these facilities. To carry out the attack, the racists planned to use ballistic missiles and KAB-500 guided aerial bombs," the SBU reported on social media.

According to the intelligence service, "in order to guide them to the target, the enemy adjuster entered an encrypted communication session with his Russian intelligence handler and passed him the coordinates.

The security service reportedly detained him in his own home. According to the SBU, the detainee's cell phone, which he used to communicate with the Russian special service, was seized.

"According to the investigation, the enemy accomplice, whom the occupiers recruited for cooperation in early April, was a "local resident, an ideological supporter of racism". According to the SBU, among other things, "the offender 'in the dark' asked for information from customers of a local shopping and entertainment center, where he worked as a salesman.

The suspect was served a notice of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement, movement or location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine if they can be identified on the ground). The offender is currently in custody. He faces up to 8 years in prison.
