A body was found in the landing gear compartment, also known as the wheel well, of a United Airlines plane after it landed in Hawaii on Christmas Eve, the company said, UNN reports citing the BBC.

Flight 202 took off from O'Hare Airport to Chicago on Tuesday morning and landed at Kahului Airport on Maui in the afternoon.
United Airlines said it remains unclear how or when the person got into the landing gear, which it said was only accessible from the outside of the Boeing 787-10.
The company said it was cooperating with law enforcement agencies in the investigation.
The deceased was not named.
In a statement, the police department told Hawaii News Now that it was investigating "a deceased person found on an inbound flight from the mainland this afternoon. No further details are available at this time.
