In the dormitory of a Chernivtsi vocational school, two teenagers beat a 16-year-old student and filmed it, the police opened a criminal investigation, the Main Department of the National Police in Chernivtsi region reported, UNN reports.

Police officers have reportedly identified and documented the illegal actions of the minors involved in the incident, which occurred on December 14 in the dormitory of a Chernivtsi vocational school. The incident is also being thoroughly investigated by juvenile police officers together with educators.
"Law enforcement officers found out that two residents of the regional center, aged 14 and 17, probably in a state of intoxication, got into the room of a 16-year-old student. The boy let them in through the dormitory window on his own," the police said.
During the conversation, a conflict arose between the minors, during which the younger of the guests began to strike the dormitory resident, while the older one filmed the beating on his cell phone.
Currently, the necessary procedural actions are being taken within the criminal proceedings and relevant examinations have been appointed.
The incident was registered in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Part 1 of Art. 125 (Intentional light bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
In addition, juvenile police officers conduct preventive work with the participants of the event and representatives of the educational institution.
"Based on the results of a comprehensive and objective investigation, the final legal qualification of the incident will be provided," the police said.
