At least half of the ballistic missiles launched by Iran at Israel during yesterday's massive attack failed. These weapons either did not take off during the launches, or failed or crashed in flight, or crashed before reaching their targets. This was reported by ABC with reference to two unnamed US officials, UNN reports .
Details
It is noted that the weapons either did not take off during the launches, or failed or crashed in flight, or crashed before reaching their targets.
Two American officials confirmed this ratio of missiles that were disabled during the attack on Israel to journalists.
Earlier, a senior U.S. official told the publication that among the more than 300 drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles, there were 115 to 135 ballistic missiles launched at Israel.
This means that only half of the ballistic missiles launched by Iran should have been shot down by the air defense of Israel and other countries.
Recall
Iran carried out massive attacks using about 300 drones and missiles against Israel, which Ukraine strongly condemned as absolutely unacceptable, irresponsible actions that risk further escalation in the Middle East.
