Half of the men of conscription age currently abroad are ready to return to Ukraine without the end of the war, provided that the issue of reservations is resolved. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Human Rights, De-occupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, National Minorities and International Relations, UNN reports.
Details
According to Chernyshev, half of the men of call-up age are ready to return to Ukraine, even without waiting for the end of hostilities.
"50% of men of conscription age are ready to return to Ukraine today, without waiting for the end of the war, if the issue of reservations is resolved. It is not the war that stops men from returning today. Of course, they are intimidated by the issue of possible mobilization. Whether this is good or bad, we will assess this later, it is the way it is," said Oleksiy Chernyshov.
He also noted that future Unity Hubs abroad should deal with issues related to mobilization and military registration documents, as well as provide employment services in Ukraine.
