The destruction of oil refineries in Russia damages the defense and offensive capabilities of the occupiers. This was stated by a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Yevhen Yerin during a telethon, a correspondent of UNN reports.
When asked about the consequences of a drone attack on an oil refinery in the Krasnodar region, Yerin answered:
"We cannot give any official comments on this matter, but at the same time, I can note that any strike on the objects used by the occupiers to wage war in Ukraine is a legitimate target. The destruction of such facilities causes damage to the defense and offensive capabilities of the occupiers. So I think we will see and hear the consequences, but at the same time, every successful attack reduces the enemy's combat potential.
When asked how much such strikes affect the Russian oil refining industry in general, Yerin replied: "Each individual strike may not have any impact, may not have a significant impact, but at the same time, the complex of these actions causes some damage to the Russian Federation, reduces its ability to wage war.
