Law enforcement officers detained four more participants in the riots that occurred on July 8 in the Sykhiv district of Lviv during notification events. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General and the Security Service of Ukraine, according to UNN.

According to the investigation, among those detained are a 21-year-old and a 45-year-old resident of Lviv, as well as two 28-year-old servicemen, one of whom left his military unit without authorization.
As reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, two local residents incited the crowd to illegal actions and themselves actively participated in damaging the official vehicle of servicemen from the Sykhiv District TCC and SP. According to the investigation, they blocked the SUV's movement, jumped on it, and later, together with other participants, overturned the vehicle.
Another detainee, a 45-year-old Lviv resident, is suspected of attacking a TCC serviceman. According to the investigation, he provoked a conflict, used physical force, grabbed the serviceman, tried to tear off his uniform, and insulted him.
The SBU noted that all detainees were among the most active participants in the riots. They are currently being prepared for suspicion under Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations during a special period). One of the detainees is also charged with unauthorized abandonment of a military unit (Article 407 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Law enforcement also reminded that earlier a 23-year-old participant in the incident had been detained, who, according to the investigation, used a gas canister against police officers and inflicted a head injury on one of them.
According to the investigation, during the riots involving about 200 civilians, the official KIA Sorento vehicle used by TCC and SP servicemen was blocked, damaged, and overturned.
The SBU noted that investigative actions are ongoing, and law enforcement is identifying all persons involved in the incident.

The incident occurred on July 8 in Lviv, in the Sykhiv district. A crowd attempted to "free" a man from TCC workers under shouts of "shame" and began beating the official TCC vehicle, which, according to local public reports, was overturned. The police and the local TCC stated that the conflict arose due to the detention of a military-liable man who was wanted.
The head of the Lviv OVA, Maksym Kozytskyi, reported at night that "an urgent meeting was held with law enforcement regarding the situation with the blocking of TCC vehicles in Sykhiv."
The Head of the Presidential Office, former head of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov reacted to the conflict involving the crowd and TCC representatives in Lviv, stating that he expects a "fair" response from law enforcement agencies.
About 200 civilians took part in the clashes involving the crowd, TCC, and police in Lviv, reported the Office of the Prosecutor General, stating that an investigation has been launched into the incident involving servicemen, police, and civilians.
