Russian shelling caused a fire at a mine in Donetsk region, and bad weather caused new power outages in Sumy and Kherson regions.

In Donetsk region, a fire broke out in a mine due to enemy shelling, with no casualties. New blackouts in Sumy and Kherson regions are caused by bad weather, the Energy Ministry reported on Wednesday, UNN reports

Details 

According to the Ministry of Energy, a fire broke out in a mine in Donetsk region due to shelling. The fire was extinguished by mine workers. It is noted that there were no people in the mines. No one was injured.

In addition, it is reported that a high-voltage overhead line was turned off in Poltava region during the air raid,  and equipment at several substations was de-energized. During the inspection, a wire break was reportedly found. 

According to the Ministry of Energy, new power outages have occurred in Sumy and Kherson regions as a result of the weather. As a result of the hostilities and technical violations, 528 settlements are without electricity.
