The European Commission has allocated an additional €1.5 billion in aid to Ukraine to support the functioning of the state and the provision of services while the country defends itself against Russian invasion.

The European Union is disbursing an additional €1.5 billion in aid to Ukraine today as part of the €50 billion Ukraine Facility. This was announced on Wednesday by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, UNN reports.
