In particular, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, operators of the 112 service operators have received more than 470,000 calls since the project was launched. In particular, more than five thousand calls were handled in sign language. language.

The 112 service is also about accessibility. The operators speak foreign languages. People with hearing or speech impairments can also call the line. or speech impairment. Specialists have already processed more than 5,500 calls in sign language via via video communication.

As of today, emergency services can be called by calling 112 in addition to the capital and the capital region, in five other regions of Ukraine: Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Lviv, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions.  

The project plans to make the 112 line available throughout Ukraine.

"We have developed clear steps for development and know what to do next! We are working to make the single emergency number 112 available throughout the country," - the agency promised.

In July, the Ministry of Internal Affairs successfully introduced the 112 service in Kyiv, which becomes a single number to report any emergency situation. The 112 communication center is already in operation, processing incoming information and providing coverage throughout the capital. 

And in n December, the 112 communication center was launched  in five more regions of Ukraine.
