MHP and the MHP-Community Charitable Foundation in cooperation with the State Employment Service presented an educational video course for business representatives, where experts explain step-by-step all the key aspects of building your own business: from idea to finding financing and filing reports.

The educational video course consists of 10 episodes lasting from 5 to 15 minutes, during which experts explain where to look for business ideas, how to write effective business plans, build well-coordinated teams, and take into account risks and marketing trends. After watching the course, entrepreneurs will also learn where to look for investments for their business and how to make sure that a grant application receives funding from donors. The experts were representatives of the Grape marketing agency, MHP, MHP-Community, and the State Employment Service.

The course is suitable for beginning entrepreneurs and those who plan to start their own business. According to Pavlo Moroz, Director of MHP's Corporate Social Responsibility Department, the educational videos combine the expertise of business representatives and the MHP Community Foundation, which has been developing Ukrainian communities through social and grant initiatives for more than 9 years, as well as specialists from the State Employment Service, which also has current grant opportunities  for entrepreneurs.

"Community development and support of public initiatives is one of the strategic directions of MHP as a socially responsible business. We understand that community development depends on small businesses that provide local services and pay taxes to the budget. That is why, together with our strategic partner MHP-Community, we support microbusinesses through grants, training and consultations, which helps create new jobs and develop quality services in communities. This educational course is one of the platforms where we share our expertise with those who want to change their lives and communities for the better," said Pavlo Moroz.

"According to Opendatabot statistics, one in three sole proprietorships in Ukraine fails within the first year. The main reasons for such failures include lack of capital and lack of necessary knowledge and skills to run a business effectively. To help entrepreneurs successfully overcome the initial challenges, we have created this course: it provides important information and advice, strengthening their position in a competitive business environment," said Oleksandr Pakholyuk, Director of MHP-Community.

"The Employment Service actively supports micro and small businesses that create jobs and pay taxes. This is part of our active employment policy. Through business grants and other measures such as training and compensation programs for employers, we influence the labor market in Ukraine and make it more efficient and inclusive. With this video course, together with MHP, we want to support Ukrainians who choose the path of entrepreneurship," said Yulia Zhovtyak, Director of the State Employment Service.

Training videos are available for viewing in free access.

After watching the episodes, everyone will be able to take a test and receive a certificate that will confirm their knowledge and increase their chances of writing a successful application and receiving funding in future "Do Your Own" competitions from MHP Community Foundation. As a reminder, "Do Your Own" is a small business support program that allows entrepreneurs to receive up to UAH 100 thousand to develop their own business.
