During the celebrations on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine, Polish President Andrzej Duda said that Poland has supported and will continue to support Ukraine's just struggle until its victorious conclusion, and expressed confidence that the war will end with the victory of the forces of freedom over the world of tyranny, reports a correspondent of UNN.

"It is a great honor for me to be in Kyiv again today and to celebrate Ukraine's Independence Day together with the heroic people of Ukraine. Poland has been by your side since the beginning of the Russian invasion. It is difficult to imagine an independent Poland, Lithuania or other countries in our region without Ukraine's independence. We are well aware of this. For more than two years you have been heroically fighting for your country. Remember that you are not alone in this most difficult challenge. Poland has supported and will continue to support your just struggle until its victorious conclusion, because today you are fighting for freedom, and we Poles know that independence is forever. We have lost our sovereignty twice and regained it twice," Duda said.
Duda is convinced that the war will soon end with the victory of the forces of freedom over the world of tyranny.
"Ukraine has been rightly striving for many years to become part of the European community. These aspirations are fully justified. In Poland, we are well aware that Ukraine has been part of the European community for centuries," Duda added.
