In Kryvyi Rih, the aftermath of a rocket attack that injured 17 people continues. On Friday, December 27, a day of mourning was declared in the city. The head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, wrote about it , UNN reports .
“A day of mourning will be declared in Kryvyi Rih on Friday, December 27. Our sincere condolences to the family and friends...” the statement reads.
Elimination of the consequences of an impact
The city is actively engaged in the aftermath of the tragedy. All the necessary services are involved, including 15 utility crews and 14 pieces of equipment. Repair work is underway to restore the overhead power grid.
The Humanitarian Center continues to operate. Construction materials for repairing damaged housing have been delivered from the city reserve: OSB boards, film, slats and other necessary materials.
The headquarters also accepts applications for financial assistance or resettlement.
“The headquarters has already received applications from 17 residents whose homes were damaged, including eight applications for destroyed housing,” the statement said.
The victims have already received 75 sheets of OSB, 60 rails, 420 meters of polyethylene and other materials.
Utility crews provide assistance in urgent repairs to homes.
The headquarters will be open today until 16:30 and tomorrow from 8:00 to 16:30.
Medical assistance to the victims
Of the 17 victims, 11 were hospitalized, including two girls. Three of the victims (two women and a man) are in serious condition, the rest are in stable moderate condition. Doctors are providing all necessary assistance.
All involved services continue to work to overcome the consequences of the tragedy and help the victims.
