The death toll from the massive Russian strike in Kyiv has increased to four people, with 39 reported injured, the Main Directorate of the National Police in the capital reported on social media on Thursday, UNN writes.

The bodies of two men, aged 21 and 30, and a woman—whose identity is currently being established—were extricated from the rubble of the destroyed entrance of a high-rise building. Another man died in the hospital; he had been hospitalized from a gas station that came under enemy attack,
"The number of victims stands at 39 people, including an infant," the police noted.
Police and emergency services continue to work at the scene.
According to the State Emergency Service, rescuers and service dog units are working continuously at the site of the hit on the high-rise building in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv. Currently, canine teams have inspected over 500 square meters of the territory. The four-legged assistants help check every area where machinery or humans cannot always manage. Despite the dust, noise, and danger, service dogs move step-by-step through the most difficult zones, signaling rescuers as soon as they detect even the slightest hint of life.
