Damage to the Kurakhivske Reservoir Dam: Villages on the Vovchya River are not flooded

The Kurakhivske Reservoir spilled 15 million cubic meters of water after the dam was damaged. No flooding of residential buildings or villages on the Vovchya River was recorded.

As a result of the damage to the dam of the Kurakhivske reservoir, no flooding of housing was recorded. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk RMA Vadim Filashkin, UNN reports.

"The consequences of the damage to the Kurakhivske reservoir dam are no residential flooding," Filashkin said.

According to him, as of 4 p.m. on November 12, 15 million cubic meters of water had spilled out of the Kurakhivske reservoir.

"...the villages on the Vovcha River are not flooded. We continue to monitor the situation. In case of significant changes, I will inform you additionally," summarized Filashkin.
