In the 5th round of the group stage of the Conference League, Belgian Ghent met with Luhansk Zorya. The Ukrainian club lost with a score of 4:1.
The Belgians managed to open the scoring in the 20th minute of the match with Malik Fofana's effort. In the 49th minute, Ukrainian defender Arseniy Batagov "cut" the ball into his own net, doubling Ghent's lead. Also in the 55th and 75th minutes of the match, Gyft Orban and Omri Handelman scored a goal each, bringing the score to 4-0.
In the 82nd minute, Denys Nahnoinyi scored Zorya's only goal of the match.
