Russia creates a strategic narrative that Ukraine is basically a "black market" and a supposedly unreliable partner. The Center analyzes the Russian disinformation campaign called "black market of weapons", which was discovered during the monitoring of the Russian and international information space.
The Center found that the main goal of this disinformation campaign is to consolidate among the world audience a stable narrative that "Ukraine sells the provided weapons" and is "the main factor of destabilization in all hot spots of the world".
during the study, The Center analyzed 10,862 messages in Ukrainian, Russian and other languages, in the time period from February 24, 2022 to October 16, 2023 inclusive.
