"This veto will be overridden, so I don't see what to comment on," Denkov said.
The head of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms parliamentary group, Delian Peevski, said the Bulgarian parliament is likely to reject the president's veto this week.
"The decision of President Rumen Radev to veto the delivery of armored vehicles to Ukraine can be described in one word - shame," Peevski added.
As a reminder, in August, the Bulgarian government approved a draft agreement between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on the free provision of armored vehicles. Today it became known that Bulgarian President Rumen Radev vetoed the government's decision to provide armored vehicles to Ukraine free of charge.
