The head of the Gur commented on the investigation of "schemes" regarding the transfer of strategic bombers by Ukraine to Russia in the 90s. Budanov stressed the importance of prioritizing state interests and preventing such mistakes.

Corruption, incompetence, and lack of strategic vision lead to anti-state decisions. This belief was expressed by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Kirill Budanov, commenting on the investigation of journalists of the program "schemes: corruption in detail", reports UNN.

"Corruption, incompetence and lack of strategic vision lead to anti-state decisions. As a country and nation that pays an extremely high price in the struggle for its own freedom, we have no right to allow such mistakes and crimes to be repeated. I recommend that you review a thorough investigation of Radio Liberty journalists, the program of the Scheme: corruption in detail - RFERL, about how it happened that Moscow uses strategic bombers and missiles transferred to it by Ukraine in the 90s to strike Ukrainian cities," the head of the Gur wrote.

He thanked the schemes team for this important work, noting that information from the Main Intelligence Directorate, in particular about Russian war criminal pilots, was useful in creating the material.

"We will be able to defeat the enemy and reliably protect Ukraine when we change irreversibly. The interests of the state should become a top priority for everyone," Kirill Budanov stated.
