Australia has provided assistance to Ukraine in the form of 49 Abrams tanks and 14 boats. This was stated by Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga during a press conference, an UNN correspondent reports .

“We are deeply grateful for the military assistance, including the recent provision of 49 Abrams tanks and 14 boats. And the total amount of Australia's assistance has amounted to more than $1 billion, of which $880 million is military aid,” the Foreign Minister said.
Andriy Sybiga also added that he has requested additional military support, including the famous Australian Bushmaster and other weapons.
“We will also propose to take into account Ukraine's needs when writing off military equipment in service with the Australian Defense Force,” said Andriy Sybiga.
