On April 12, 2024, the SAPO prosecutor decided to complete the pre-trial investigation in the case against three people caught in an attempt to bribe the leadership of the Ministry of Reconstruction. As of today, NABU detectives, on behalf of the SAPO prosecutor, have opened the case file to the defense for review.

In November last year, investigators found that a number of agreements were concluded between a state-owned enterprise under the management of the Ministry of Community, Territorial and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine and a private developer company for the construction of residential buildings on state-owned land.
In order to realize this deal, the offenders, with the support of the MP, made an offer to the Vice Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine - Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine to submit an offer to him. They offered a bribe in the amount of 2% of the area of future residential buildings (over 5200 square meters) for not terminating the contracts and facilitating their implementation.
Subsequently, the actual owner of the company secured the registration of property rights to 15 apartments in one of the residential complexes of the capital with a total area of 785 square meters in the name of the "trustee" of the Vice Prime Minister, 1 of which he transferred into his ownership.
