The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Andriy Yusov, said that the drone strike on the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is another wave of provocations by Russia. Yusov said this during a telethon, UNN reports.
"We are now seeing another wave of provocations by Russia. As for the Ukrainian nuclear power plant, all this has been recorded before. Provocations with the aim of accusing Ukraine. (...) Today, they decided to use FPV drones to simulate shelling allegedly from Ukraine. Ukraine's position is unambiguous, clear, and understandable: we do not carry out any military actions or provocations against nuclear facilities. The aggressor must leave the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant," Yusov said.
He recalled that it was the Russians who deployed troops and equipment at ZNPP, mined the plant's territory, and regularly launch attack drones there.
Yusov also noted that Ukrainian employees who do not want to sign a contract remain working at ZNPP. According to the representative of the GUR, the occupiers are trying to look for new personnel from the territory of Russia or through social networks, in particular, Telegram.
