Over the past five hours, six more aftershocks with magnitudes ranging from 2.4 to 6 have occurred in the region.
It is noted that sea level fluctuations are likely to last 2-3 hours along the coast of the Tanegashima and Yakushima regions, Amami and Tokara islands.
