In Kovel, Volyn region, an accident occurred involving an employee of the local RTCC and JV. The man was driving while intoxicated, UNN reports.
"The Kovel Regional Training and Communications Center confirms the fact of a traffic accident involving a serviceman of the institution, which occurred as a result of driving under the influence of alcohol. Fortunately, no one involved in the incident was injured," the Volyn Regional Training and Evaluation Center said in a statement.
Police officers recorded the accident.
The Volyn Regional TCC expects that "the perpetrator will be brought to justice in accordance with the current legislation: it is envisaged to withdraw the driver's license and impose a fine for drunken driving.
"The serviceman will also be disciplined for violating military discipline," the TCC emphasized.
