In Brovary, a program to pay compensation for the purchase and installation of generators for apartment buildings has been in place since the fall of 2022. The mayor of Brovary, Ihor Sapozhko, reminded about this in his Telegram channel, UNN reports.

The mayor noted that the information that appeared on social media that the program was not in effect was not true. He said that almost 30 city condominiums and housing cooperatives have already joined the program, and almost two million hryvnias have been allocated for compensation. He also explained the mechanism for receiving compensation.
"The relevant program has been operating in our city since the end of 2022, and about thirty Brovary condominiums and housing cooperatives have already joined it, some of them repeatedly. The city has allocated almost two million hryvnias for compensation. In order to receive compensation for the installed generator, the management of a condominium or housing cooperative must apply to the city's Department of Housing, Infrastructure and Transport. The application is reviewed by a commission, which determines the amount of compensation and makes a decision at a meeting of the executive committee," Sapozhko wrote.
The mayor added that this year there have already been several applications for compensation. He called on all residents of apartment buildings to be proactive and join this program so that they do not depend on power outages.
