A plane of the Irish airline Emerald Airlines made a hard landing at Belfast airport due to strong winds. This was reported on Sunday, December 22, by the Daily Mail, according to UNN.

There was no one on board but four crew members. According to preliminary reports, they were not injured.
During the landing, the front strut of the plane broke. After the incident, the airport was temporarily closed and a state of emergency was declared. Medics and police also went there.
All inbound and outbound flights were canceled. Some flights have also been diverted from Belfast to other airports, including a British Airways flight from London City and an Aer Lingus flight from Leeds Bradford Airport.
