Recommendations for admission to master's programs based on a bachelor's degree have appeared in applicants' electronic accounts — 35% for state-funded places, the Ministry of Education and Science reported on Monday, UNN writes.

As reported by the Ministry of Education and Science, "following the automated allocation, 80,312 applicants received recommendations":
- 28,354 — for state-funded places;
- 51,958 — on a tuition-paying basis.
The vast majority of applicants to master's programs consciously chose the field of study and institution where they wanted to pursue the second level of higher education. Thus, 98.5% of recommendations for state-funded places and 94.9% for tuition-paying places were based on applications listing one of the top three preferences, while for the first preference, the figures were 88.6% for state-funded places and 75% for tuition-paying places.
What is important to know?
The Ministry of Education and Science specified what comes next and what the particulars are:
- confirm your recommendation by 18:00 on August 28 and conclude an agreement with the higher education institution. Enrollment will be indicated by a change in the application status to “Included in the admission order,” which must take place by August 29 inclusive;
- starting August 30, educational institutions will be able to issue recommendations to applicants for vacant tuition-paying places. Transfers to vacant state-funded places will continue until September 7, while enrollment on a tuition-paying basis will continue until September 14.
- This year, for the first time, master's applicants may receive academic grants of UAH 27,000 and UAH 40,000, which will help fully or partially cover the cost of tuition-paying education. Certificates for academic grants will be generated automatically based on Unified State Electronic Database on Education data. A notification will arrive in the "Diia" app starting September 15.
