The Defense Ministry of Belarus announced a week of reservists. The number of training camps has increased. This is written Belaruski Gayun, reports UNN.
Today we have already drawn attention to the fact that military training camps with reservists have started in a number of military units. Thus, on March 12-13, military commissions of Minsk, as well as of Mahiliou, Minsk and Brest regions reported about sending reservists to military training camps.

According to the Belarusian media, military training camps are now taking place in Belarus:
- 6th Mechanized Brigade;
- 11th Mechanized Brigade;
- 74th Signal Regiment;
- 557th Engineer Brigade;
- 2400th Signal Battalion, etc.
It is noted that over 200 reservists have been sent to military training camps by military commissions in recent days. However, journalists are sure that in reality their number is higher, as open sources publish incomplete data about the training camps.
Gayun adds that the call-up of reservists for territorial defense exercises in Gomel region (about 200) and Voronovsky district (about 100 people, respectively) has also been announced.
The exact number of reservists planned to be called up for military training in 2024 is not reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus. However, journalists recalled that last year the military planned to call up 9,000 people for training camps. However, the announced limit was significantly exceeded.
In order not to embarrass itself, the Defense Ministry decided not to announce its plans to call up reservists for military training. Earlier, the ministry "solved the problem" of shortages in hotel units in a similar way of understaffing in the army's hotel units.
The publication also anticipates that the intensity of military training camps in general cannot be expected to decrease. This is indicated by changes in the rules for military training camps, which now allow for more frequent recruitment of reservists.
