"A terrible tragedy in the Rivne region: as a result of a fire, three small children were killed," the State Emergency Service reported in social networks.
It happened in the village of Pevzha, Dubensky district. Before the arrival of the State Emergency Service, citizens were taking four boys born in 2020, 2022 and 2024 to meet the ambulance on their own transport.
"Having met the car, doctors pronounced one child dead, tried to resuscitate others. Unfortunately, two could not be saved. The child, born in 2024, was hospitalized," the State Emergency Service noted.
The fire was extinguished before the arrival of rescue units. The fire damaged things and furniture in a room of a residential building. The causes of its occurrence are being established.
