On Saturday, August 17, during the opening of a new Kidlandia station in the city of professions at the LEOLAND entertainment center in Lviv, a thermal flask cracked and shattered. As a result of the incident, three children were injured and taken to the hospital. This was reported on the Facebook page of the entertainment center, UNN reports.

As a result of the incident, three children and an animator who was holding the flask at the time of the incident were injured. All of the injured were taken to St. Nicholas Hospital, the hospital's press service said.
“Two children - a 9-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl - received minor shrapnel wounds to their eyebrows and eyelids. They underwent primary surgical treatment of the wounds and were stitched up. The third child, an eight-year-old boy, was admitted with a superficial head injury and soft tissue bruise as a result of a fall,” the statement said.
According to the medical institution, the children were provided with all the necessary assistance and released home.
The entertainment center's Facebook page clarified that they are currently investigating the causes of the incident and checking the video from surveillance cameras. Later, they promised to provide details of the inspection.
