Satellite images have emerged of the aftermath of a missile strike on the communications center of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol. The photos show that the roof of one of the buildings collapsed after the strike. UNN reports this with reference to the Radio Liberty investigative program "Schemes".
The Planet Labs satellite recorded that a building on Rudneva Street in Sevastopol was hit by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, on the morning of March 24, they struck a communications center of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
Comparing satellite images of the area from March 21 and 24, it is clear that the roof of the building collapsed after the strike. Fire trucks are also visible near the building, the journalists add.
The Navy said that the communication hub of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol was seriously damaged, causing significant damage.
