A bus carrying nine Ukrainian citizens, including 4 children, crashed into a road service car on a highway in Poland, leaving 5 people in serious condition, Polish media RMF24 reported on Saturday, UNN reported.

The bus crash reportedly occurred on the A2 highway in Poland's Swiebodzin County - around 5 o'clock between the Tożym and Jordańów interchanges. Marcin Ruczynski, a spokesman for the Svebodzin police, told RMF FM that the bus hit a road service vehicle with information about the road being narrowed due to repairs.
"A bus carrying nine Ukrainian citizens overturned. Among the passengers were four children aged 2, 3, 4 and 15," the statement said.
After the accident, 9 people were reportedly taken to hospitals. Five of them are reportedly in serious condition. "Children are among the most affected," the publication notes.
Only the people on the bus were injured. The police are investigating the cause of the incident. It is already known that the driver was sober.
