In Brovary district, a man crossing the railroad tracks was hit by a train. The man died on the spot from his injuries. This was reported by the police of the Kyiv region, UNN writes.

On April 22, at about 21:00, a train hit a man crossing the tracks with a bicycle in his hands at Bobryk station. The driver used a horn and tried to stop the train with emergency braking, but failed to prevent the tragedy.
A 54-year-old resident of the village of Rudnia died on the spot from his injuries.
Investigators are conducting a pre-trial investigation into the incident under Part 3 of Art. 276 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the rules of safety of movement or operation of rail, water or air transport).
