In the Kyiv region, a man was hit by a train and died on the spot from his injuries, UNN reports, citing the Kyiv regional police.

The incident occurred at night at the Yahotyn railway station. According to preliminary information, a 54-year-old man was crossing the tracks just before a passenger electric train approached, which resulted in the victim being hit. The pedestrian died at the scene from his injuries.
