A missing 13-year-old girl from Izmail was found without signs of life in the Danube River. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa region, UNN reports.

On Friday, police in Odesa region received a report that two teenagers were looking for a friend who had gone swimming and disappeared.
Consequently, criminal proceedings were initiated over the disappearance of the young child.
According to the information, during the search operations on August 3, around 15:00, divers pulled the girl out of the Danube River. Preliminary, no injuries were found. The child's death was probably caused by drowning.
The family of the deceased was registered with the children's service as facing difficult life circumstances. However, the parents had not been previously noticed by the police.
