President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has dismissed Oleksiy Danilov from the post of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council and immediately appointed Oleksandr Lytvynenko to replace him, UNN reports .
"Release Oleksiy Myacheslavovych Danilov from the post of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine," says decree No. 186/2024.
Note that the President of Ukraine has already found a replacement for Danilov. Oleksandr Litvinenko was appointed as the new secretary of the National Security Council.
"To appoint Oleksandr Valeriyovych Lytvynenko as the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine," reads decree No. 188/2024.

Prior to his appointment as Secretary of the National Security Council, Oleksandr Lytvynenko was the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine. Before his appointment, Zelensky dismissed him from his post.
"Release Oleksandr Valeriyovych Lytvynenko from the post of Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine," says decree No. 187/2024.
