President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy gave a balanced answer about what he expects from US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump if the former president wins the election again, NDTV reports, UNN writes.

Zelenskiy, answering NDTV's question about whether he expects Trump to support Ukraine's military efforts, said: "We'll see in November.
The election between Trump and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris is scheduled for November.
"But in any case, I did not receive any signal from his (Trump's) team or from him. We had one bilateral conversation during that period of time, and we had one phone call during the war. I only received messages that he would support Ukraine, do everything to stop the war, and do everything to ensure that Ukraine remains independent, European, and free," Zelenskyy said.
"These are all the messages I received from him directly. But I still cannot predict, so we will see in November what will happen," the President of Ukraine said.

Zelenskyy spoke to journalists after meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Kyiv. It was the first visit by an Indian prime minister since Ukraine gained independence in 1991.
Prime Minister Modi's visit to Kyiv was perceived in many circles as a diplomatic balancing act, as his trip to Russia had raised concerns in some Western countries. Indian Foreign Minister Subramanyam Jaishankar said that Prime Minister Modi reiterated the need for "practical engagement" between all stakeholders to develop an innovative solution that will help create broad acceptance and promote peace and stability.
During the bilateral talks, Prime Minister Modi had earlier told Zelensky that both Ukraine and Russia should sit down together without wasting time to find ways to end the war, and that India had been on the side of peace since the conflict began in February 2022.
