A Youth Council will be created at the Ministry of Culture, which will be responsible for preparing recommendations from young people on the formation and implementation of state policy in the fields of culture and arts, museums, creative industries, and media. The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine announces the establishment of the Youth Council at the ICIP - a permanent advisory body that will prepare, submit and consider proposals and recommendations from young people on the formation and implementation of state policy in the fields of culture and arts, librarianship, museums, creative industries, media and state language policy, etc
The Youth Council will also hold relevant professional consultations.
The ICIP explains that young people aged 18 to 35, including representatives of youth organizations and unions, student self-government bodies of higher education institutions and institutions of professional pre-higher education, youth centers, and youth workers, will be able to join the class of the Youth Council.
An important condition for young people interested in participating in the work of the council is active participation in public life, experience in working with student, volunteer, non-governmental, international institutions, and basic knowledge of culture and information policy
It is noted that the Youth Council will consist of up to 30 people and the term of office of the members of the Youth Council will be 2 years;
The form of work of the Youth Council is meetings, which should be held at least once a quarter, and the participation of in the work of the Youth Council is carried out on a voluntary basis and free of charge
To participate in the selection process, please fill out the application form by 12:00 on September 9, 2024. The selection will be held in two stages: review of applications and online interviews. After the interviews, each candidate will receive information by email.
