Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi arrived in the Pokrovsk sector, where fierce fighting continues. According to him, in order to increase the sustainability of defense, non-standard decisions have to be made, UNN reports.
"While working in the Pokrovsk sector, I personally visited the soldiers of the 38th separate marine brigade. At the moment, fighting continues in the Pokrovsk sector with the enemy outnumbered, first of all, in manpower," said Syrsky.

According to the Commander-in-Chief, "we have to make non-standard decisions to increase the stability of defense and more effectively destroy the occupiers.
"The fighting is extremely fierce. The Russian occupants are throwing all available forces forward, trying to break through the defense of our troops. [Ukrainian soldiers are showing extraordinary resilience and inflicting significant losses on the enemy," he added.
In such circumstances, according to Syrsky, "our main task is to strengthen the defense, in particular, to provide units with sufficient ammunition and their constant supply.
The Commander-in-Chief also listened to information about the existing problems and gave appropriate instructions.
