The new report notes that Israeli military actions have resulted in the deaths and severe physical and psychological trauma of hundreds of thousands of Palestinian children. Investigators claim that such actions continued even after the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas was concluded in October last year.
According to the commission, about 30% of those killed during the war in Gaza are children. The report also emphasizes the use of powerful weapons in densely populated areas and the repeated displacement of the civilian population, which, according to the authors of the document, worsened the humanitarian situation in the enclave.

The UN commission states that the Israeli blockade of Gaza, restrictions on access to food, and strikes on medical infrastructure have negatively affected the health of children and newborns. Separately, the investigators examined the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories. The report mentions possible war crimes and crimes against humanity related to the mass detention of Palestinian youth and conditions of detention in prisons.
Israel rejected the commission's findings and denies the accusations of genocide. At the same time, the authors of the report recalled that a previous report in 2025 also concluded that there were signs of genocide in Gaza.
