Ukraine's Defense Minister had a conversation with the Pentagon's Chief of Staff to strengthen the Ukrainian army. The parties discussed providing the military with the necessary resources and thanked for the support.

Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov had a conversation with US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. They talked about strengthening the Ukrainian army and providing soldiers with everything they need by the end of the year, UNN reports.

"I informed him about the current situation on the battlefield. We discussed further steps to strengthen our army and provide Ukrainian soldiers with everything they need by the end of the year," Umerov said.

The Defense Minister thanked the United States for its continued support and strong partnership.
