Ukrzaliznytsia reported delays of international trains running from the Polish cities of Chełm and Przemyśl to Ukraine. The reason was disruptions in the operation of the energy infrastructure on the Polish railway, writes UNN citing Ukrzaliznytsia.
Details
According to the carrier, problems on the Polish side led to delays of some trains traveling from Warsaw to Chełm and Przemyśl. To ensure passengers do not miss their connections to Ukrainian routes, Ukrzaliznytsia and the Polish carrier PKP Intercity agreed to coordinate train connections.
Train "Bessarabia" will run daily between Kyiv and Chișinău from June 2819.06.26, 15:17
In this regard, international trains operated by Ukrzaliznytsia will depart from Chełm and Przemyśl with a delay of approximately 2.5-3 hours.
Passengers are asked to stay updated
Ukrzaliznytsia apologized for the inconvenience and urged passengers to carefully follow announcements at stations and information about train movements.
If the journey involves a further transfer already within the territory of Ukraine, passengers are advised to inform the train crew about this or contact via feedback in the carrier's app.
The company also noted that they will try to reduce the delay from the schedule on Ukrainian territory where infrastructure capabilities and the security situation allow.
